Hit-And-Run Accident Leaves Victim Dead

Pamela Miclette spent September 24 shopping, unaware that a trip to a friend's house to borrow movies would lead to her death. That night as she made her way across the street in Auburndale, Florida on foot, she was the victim of a hit-and-run accident. Miclette died at the scene after being hit by a Ford F-150 pickup truck.

The Ledger reported Miclette had recently moved to Florida from Massachusetts and was building a new life for herself. Her job search and other future plans were interrupted by the actions of a reckless driver who did not even stop to take responsibility for what had happened. Miclette's friends and family are left with no answers. One of her friends said, "I just hope they find the person who did this. She didn't deserve this."
