Car Accident Kills Tampa Couple, Leaves Others Injured

Nancy and Webster Farnsworth of Tampa, FL were returning from lunch in Clearwater when their minivan was struck by a pick up truck. They were enjoying a visit from their son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter and preparing for a baby shower celebrating their son's second child.
Tampa Bay Onlinereported the
car accident
occurred at the intersection of Hillsborough and Habana avenues in Tampa when the driver of the pick up lost consciousness and control of his vehicle. Before striking the Farnsworth's minivan, the pick up hit two traffic signs and ran a red light. The
t-bone collision
with the van sent the truck airborne. The pick up landed on another vehicle with six occupants. Their injuries are reportedly not life threatening.
Kaylee Farnsworth, Nancy and Webster's 3 year old granddaughter, was also in the minivan during the car crash
. She is reportedly in stable condition a St. Joseph's Hospital where an MRI shows no bleeding in her brain.
