Clearwater Motorcyclist Killed by Drunk Driver.

Simon Holmes was drunk driving at 4:50am on September 20
th, on state road 590 when he turned in front of an oncoming
Motorcycle causing a fatal accident. Mark Nolf was thrown from his Suzuki motorcycle and died from his injuries at Bayfront Medical Center. An hour after the accident Holmes gave a sample of his blood and his blood alcohol percentage was .165, which is more than twice the
legal limit in Florida.
It was not until January that Holmes was arrested for manslaughter for causing the Motorcycle accident, because there was confusion over who was driving the vehicle. Simon Holmes will not only be charged with DUI - Manslaughter but the victim's family has also hired a
personal injury attorney to file a wrongful death lawsuit against him.
